The RollinG Bike Park in Sölden
A Pump Track of the finest quality. Just a stone’s throw away.

This is marvellous ‘skill training’ for in-between-times: This is our ‘RollinG Bike Park’ in the heart of Sölden – direct alongside our Hotel***star The Bäckelar Wirt – it’s the Arena for everyone, who appreciate ‘pumping’. No, we’re not talking about ‘weight lifting’. Our Pump Track is equipped with gravel, asphalt surfaces and bridge elements, attractive ‘rollers’ and steep curves. You can step on the ‘pump accelerator’ without using the pedals. What you do, is to (so-called) ‘pump up’ with your body weight on the bike, when you generate a speed to negotiate ‘hot roller jumps’ and ‘smooth’ runs. Generating speed as you go by pumping the bike with the body, up and down against resistances. Apart from enjoying any amount of fun, you’ll learn techniques by ‘pumping’ in our Biking Park in Sölden, which you can benefit from at once. You’ll notice the difference on your next trail run - guaranteed!

You can pump up yourself to the top
The RollinG Bike Park with its pump track is a training ground,
a playground and a skills’ school, all in one, right next to your Hotel The Bäckelar Wirt.

The Pump Track and Bike Park in Sölden
A rest for the pedals.

On our pump track in the bike park in Sölden, you can ‘pump’ your way round a course full of steep curves on varying surfaces. This means not only training the upper part of the body, but also your biking skills. And, that is the actual originality and meaning of a pump track. In 2003, Australian downhill ‘professionals’ developed this kind of curvaceous and bumpy track, in order to perfection their downhill skills, as it were ‘right on their doorstep’. You, as well also have this availability, here – the bike park with its pump track is right by your 3 Star Superior-Hotel The Bäckelar Wirt in Sölden.
