At Bäckelar Wirt, you can enjoy our very own craft beer: Sölsch, brewed at 1,400 metres right here in Sölden, at the Bäckelar Brewery. Short delivery routes and carefully selected ingredients make it a true regional quality product – one that delivers on flavour and branding.

Sölsch Original is an unfiltered, top-fermented beer with a gently fruity, yeasty character and 4.7% ABV. This naturally cloudy brew delivers subtle citrus notes and a pleasantly dry finish. With its strong golden colour and compact foam, Sölsch Original is a smooth and satisfying alternative to standard bottom-fermented beers.
Ötztaler Helles from the Bäckelar Brewery

Sölsch Ötztåler Helles is a bright, golden-coloured lager with a gentle hoppy and malty note and 4.7% ABV. Classic in style, light in body, and refreshingly smooth with hardly any bitterness – it’s a true crowd-pleaser. Its radiant colour and fine, creamy foam make it a visual and flavourful highlight.
Sölden’s one and only brewery

Simon and Flo, the Bäckelar cousins, brought their long-held dream to life with the launch of the Bäckelar Brewery. After several months of construction, they opened Sölden’s first and only brewery in autumn 2020. Since then, Sölsch has been flowing at 1,400 metres – and now there are even two varieties to choose from. Every Friday, the brewery opens its doors for direct sales and guided tours at the industrial park in Sölden.
